for real..

and it has a mixture of everything. hot women, rich/poor people, ocean, nice weather, low cost of living etc..

I mean you can literally buy a house on the sunny isles, which is right on the water for 800,000-1,000,000. Go to Cali and see if you find a house that cheap right on the water with a dock.

Yea California is super expessssive.

I go to school in suburbia and live in the cheapest housing around campus(sorta) and still pay ~580 a month for shared room in a 2 bedroom/1bath apartment. Some of my friends pay ~1000 dollars for a single room a little farther away from campus. O_O

yea it's pretty bad. My dad use to live in Florida and has no idea why he came to Texas..
 
FL is my dream too!!! I currently live in the Northeast ( Bristol ) bad weather 🙁 but you have a nice nautical feel to it which is good.

I'mm applying to a few FL schools, because i plan on living there after. I wish i had ties down there.

I dont know i just love having everyone drive super expensive cars, in super good shape, hot people everywhere, you've got hollywood here..you've got night clubs..you've got las vegas right over there..the beach here..you can go snow boarding..you can go hiking..you can do anything over here..

Wasn't there a thread about cost of med school and someone said that UF was like 70K out of state or something? correct me if I'm wrong.

I have distant cousins who lives in Parrish, FL. I've never visit them before but I heard it's all farm and one nice beach. They have crocodiles in their backyard. :scared:

yea but all you have to do i believe is once you get there go get a Florida driver license and that should automatically establish your Florida residency and they should drop the tuition to in-state tuition for the following semester and years.

Also, besides that if you live there for a certain amount of time you can establish residency

How often do we have earthquakes? I have been here 21 years and there was maybe 1 semi-big one. How often does florida have hurricanes? haha I guess I have no idea how often hurricanes effect Miami.

I mean i love Cali but as a student, i don't think one might benefit there with student loans and such
