Yeah, they made a movie too! Obvies the book is much better, but the Kal Penn movie is actually quite good. He did it justice.

On another, much crappier note, I just took an EK 101 Verbal test and my score went DOWN 3 points from my previous AAMC verbal, and DOWN 2 points from my previous EK 101 verbal. WTF?!?! This was such a strange section... EK Test 11 sucked. There were definitely a few questions that were not okay.

Why is this happening? 😱

EK101 Test 11 is...lame to say the least. Some of the questions are just too open and left me with a 50/50 guess. The explanations didn't help either. My VR score went down the last couple of EK tests...

My EK 101 score started going down with number 6 or 7....I got really frustrated with EK101...some of the questions and explanations are just obscure and ridiculous. :boom:Anyways don't stress too much because I think those few frustrating questions are not representative of the AAMC questions.

Hmm should have read this first....maybe I just fail for beginning my decline on 7 and not 11 -_-

Annnnnnyways I just finished AAMC#4.....zomg.

Yeah, I felt like a lot of the questions were just... not even valid verbal questions. The passages were "bleh", but I think it's weird that I got an 11 on AAMC 5 and an 8 on EK 11 after getting a 10 on EK 10. Wtf.

Time for AAMC 7 tomorrow, and I'm not feeling good about it... I feel out of practice.

I don't know, I thought I had a solid verbal strategy going and then BOOM, I just failed. Gahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Continue with your strategy for AAMC7. I'm sure the EK was just a fluke. You've been getting good scores. 👍

I got a 37 (11, 13, 13).......When the score came up I screamed "No Way" in the middle of the library...-_-. I have never gotten that high on verbal in EK and I have never gotten that high on bio ever. I also thought physical sciences was difficult...I hate Gchem.

WOW, Tots, major congratulations on AAMC 4!!!! That's an incredible score, especially the verbal. A 13 on VR is insane, dude.

Now let's hope I break 30 tomorrow on AAMC 7 😛

Tentatively:
AAMC#5: This Friday
AAMC#6: Sun. Aug 14th
AAMC#7: Wed. Aug 17th
AAMC#8: Fri. Aug 19th
AAMC#9&10&11: Spread out between Aug 21st - Aug 27th
Week between last test and real test...I don't know! Maybe Ill add the TBR tests I haven't taken in that week.
My test is September 2nd.

yea you guys are killing it. def gonna do good on the real deal. You guys should be relieved y'all aren't bombing the prac tests

I know I should be ecstatic about my score...and I am but I just have this undying fear that I will end up with like 10 points lower than my average. I hope I can keep up with Goose...we have to aim high so we can survive in California 🙄

Well, being a typical pre-med I know that we can never stop worrying, but it's only detrimental when you're already ahead of the game and keep worrying. It's very very very very very unlikely you'll score worse than your average by more than a point or two. Considering how well you're doing, you'll probably end up doing better than your average 😀
 
After going over AAMC4 I realized that I made stupid mistakes again and there were like 2 passages in each section that screwed me over...Really need to go over those topics again tomorrow :scared:

Yeah, I never understand it. I listen to whole albums of my favorite artists, but I never realize how good a song really is until I see a music video for it 😛

Thanks to facebook uploading all my contacts and phone numbers off my phone🙂scared🙂 I found the facebook of one of my research supervisors and his profile picture is creeeeepy.

One of my friends posted about that on fb. Glad I don't have fb on my phone. Those guys are being really underhanded lately. Same way they turned off secure browsing on fb so you're more prone to hackers.

I almost deleted my facebook last year....maybe it is time to rethink that option. I like Google+
