Job 1 pays the gas
Job 2 pays for her medical condition
Job 3 gives her a lot of experience
Job 4 is also for experience

well, i sacrifice sleep and food.. sometimes my hygiene too :meanie:

i dont sacrifice my friends, because they keep me sane, and seriously...like 10 minute naps are life savers

One of the few people I seen excited about the MCAT and it's always been a good thing. I'm gonna take a practice FL while you guys take the real deal! I'll endure with you 😀

Haha good luck! My excitement is probably going to turn into naiveté. The MCAT will probably slap me in the face! But thats ok because I won't know until October 😎

I had a dream last night that it was sept 20 and I tried looking for my mcat score and it wasnt there. Then I went to this site and everyone was posting their score and I still couldn't find it online. I remember goosewing got a 37 though.

Another dream I had the night before was that I was on the verbal section, and I finished 2 passages, and I looked at the time and there was 10 minutes left. I just sat there wondering what the hell happened. I woke up just before I clicked the void button.

I think I'm going crazy.

So ready to get the MCAT over with. Wish I had todays test date 😳
 
Whew, DONE with my MCAT!!!

How it went, you may ask?

Well...

It went okay. It definitely didn't cut me any slack in terms of what topics were tested (none of my strengths were really targeted), but I didn't panic during any of it, didn't really run out of time (had to blindly guess on two PS questions because I ran out of time), and didn't think it was bad.

PS was actually okay, I thought the first 6 passages I did were manageable, but the last passage I encountered was HORRIBLENESS. I couldn't really do it, and it definitely brought down my score.

VR was actually tougher than the average AAMC. There was a cray-cray passage which actually went okay, but there were several slightly easier passages that had some truly ambiguous questions attached to them. Not my best VR by any stretch, so definitely didn't make anywhere close to the 12+ mark.

BS was unexpectedly hard. Like, hard as hell. NONE of my favorite topics were tested. It hammered on the same topic over and over again, and focused on giving you crazy passages and interpreting them instead of testing knowledge. I usually love BS, but I really don't know how this one went.

Overall, not expecting great things, but hoping for a decent score 🙂

So, so, so tired............

Oh, and WS didn't matter.

I mean, it was whatever. I got two stupid essay topics but I made them work. Threw in some big words like "upper echelon" to impress the ladies 😉

This is how I felt:

PS: Don't really remember it. Probably a good thing. I remember feeling not too stressed. There were more "hit-or-miss" questions than I would have liked. Ie. You knew it or you didn't.

First Break: OMG I NEED TO PEEEEEEEE. Almonds almonds almonds.

VR: Thought it was fine. One passage was weird but ok. Felt like a normal VR test.

Second Break: OMG I NEED TO PEEEEEEE AGAIN! Cliff Bar NomNomNom

WS:
Passage 1: LOLWHAT? We need examples for that? How do do I get to wikipedia...oh wait. Shoot. BSBSBSBSBSBSBSBSBSBSBSBS*save*BSBSBSBSBS*save*
Passage 2: Hmm a little better.....EXTRA BS. Read my finished work...Wow...I am not even sure what happened there. BSBSBSBS.

BS: Oh hi verbal. wait this is BS.....ROFLEASYMUFFINs....HOLY **** THIS IS HARD. OMG I FAILED.

Hahahahaha I KNOW WTF. BS was sooooooooooooo much harder than any of the AAMC's ever. I was so ready for BS and so confident for just that one section and then BOOM, WTF?

Ohh yeah.... the first WS WAS really weird to come up with examples for. OH WELL, I actually came up with decent ones for that, pulled them straight up from my arse. I reread my finished products and I was like, "This is what you call absolute shizzle". I think I followed the formulas properly though, so whatevah.

Why couldn't they have asked us about crap we actually care about...?

Congratulations on being finished guys! You'll feel better and better about it as the hours/days roll by. Do something now to relax and (attempt) to get your mind off the test!
