Noo, you left me to fight this alone? lol it's okay. If I find a 04/13 date I might take it, because I could use the extra week. But I also would like it to be over with before my Spring quarter... I think I'll just tough it out.😎
 
I've been crushin on this chick for a lonnggg time and tried multiple times asking her out....never worked. Always seemed like she made excuses.

Talked to her today and found out she had boyfriend....:boom:

wow i should of rephrased how i said it- my fault, she didn't have one at the time, and i tried asking her so many times, but now she has one... basically I'm not good enough :laugh:

What your strength/weaknesses are?
I don't really know what the criteria for these kinds of meetings are, but I bet you're lucky to get to have this kind of meeting so make good use of it!

Yeah, I'm really excited. I'm doing my MS at a medical school, so I have a fair amount of resources.

My GPA is extremely low because of my first 2 years, which pulls my cGPA just below a 3.0. I have a few factors that contributed to the bad start, but its mostly because of immaturity. My grad GPA is much better (3.9). I'm hoping that if he gets a good impression it might get me viewed with human eyes. MCAT is above average, and volunteer experience is exceptional (several organizations, all with leadership).

I'm just really hoping I hit it off with him 😛

Yea I'm choosing my classes for next semester depending on how much time ill have just worrying and biting my nails. I'm probably gonna be one very PMS-type pissed off btich
 
Hey guys, I hope everyone's semester is going well. For the last month or so, I've been debating whether or not to take a gap year (I'm leaning about 90% toward taking one at the moment). If any of you wanted to check out my "chance me" thread and give some tips, I'd definitely appreciate it 😛

Dude, awesome job on your MCAT! That's an insane score! Just from MCAT and GPA alone you look golden 👍👍

I decided to take a year off last year and don't regret it at all. 👍
 
I received my LOR from a M.D via interfolio. One down 2 more to go 🙂 - now waiting for my chem and bio professors to finish up theirs. I can't for the life of me find a non-science prof.. hopefully most schools don't require this.

I am still waiting on 4...=( haha. "I'll have it done in 2 weeks!" apparently means I'll get it done in 2 months! 😀 Also another Professor(in Feb.): "When do you need it by?" Me: "Well I am applying June 1st so - " Professor cuts me off: "OK June 1st it is!" At least I know he is good for it since he is my faculty mentor and is pretty good about deadlines.

Lol, and yea i didn't give my letter writers a deadline, i told them to take their time, but ill email next month to double check on them ha

I don't know how but I am in the opposite camp, I have a pre-med advisor letter, a non-science, and my lab mentor.

However, I have no Idea who to ask to for my science letters even though I am a cell bio major lol.

I'm also taking a year off because I decided to be pre-med my senior year. I'm still not sure what I'll be doing.

Anyone have a rough estimation of the timeline of a typical publication?
I'll be submitting a manuscript in the near future and was hoping to see my work in print by the time interviews begin next year.

Lastly, is listing a submitted manuscript on the AMCAS worth anything? :/
