Honestly, now I don't care who wins (although I'm leaning towards the Ravens). I would've been fine with any of the 4 teams, except the Pats :meanie:

Pats should've won. Sadly, they were destined to lose for the same reason as the Eagles were destined to be the dream team.

Finally! Some new teams in the Super Bowl. Now it will actually be interesting this year. Especially because the two head coaches are brothers too.
 
School starts tomorrow 🙁

...oh wait...I have an interview so I get to skip all my classes 😀
 
So my girlfriend and I want to plan a trip over to the East coast to look around the city of the school I was accepted at, but it's a decently expensive trip and I don't want to end up making the same trip to yet another city if I happen to get an II and accepted somewhere else. When do you all think it'd be safe to say it's not likely to receive any more II so I can go ahead and book my flight?

I was thinking I could book in mid February for a flight in March since most schools wrap up interviews in March/early April. So I'm assuming the last IIs go out in February? I've been verified since the first day and completed all my secondaries within a week so it's safe to say they've all been able to view my app by now haha I just want to go and start exploring already!

Look at each school's interview schedule (and call to ask if not found online). Then gauge the latest interview schools: Would you rather take a look at your potential city sooner or have the chance to interview at said school?

I went back to DC for the same reasons even though I hadn't heard back post-interview at the time because I had nonrefundable tickets and had my interview bumped up earlier. I told the school I was in town and took the opportunity to sit in on classes. It was an amazing experience and something I'm going to talk about in the LOI I'll be shooting over soon with the hopes that it'll improve my chances of landing a seat off the WL. It'd also be a great idea to locate potential housing and plan a move route. Good luck!

Soo. I'm approaching a deadline soon to accept a scholarship I was offered. I'm thinking of creating a new thread to get some opinions. :-/

Well I've searched the forums numerous times in he past 6 months... Nothing comes close to answering my questions or providing insight. I will probably post later, after I get home and am able to articulate my situation better. Ha

Super bummed, school starts tomorrow (2nd sem of grad school) and I'm SO not feeling it right now. Haven't even bought books yet. I just want it to be June so I can quit my job and sleep/relax at home all day until MS1 starts in July. :-(
 
Looking to get some life insurance on me since we'll be going into so much debt for school. I'd prefer my wife and daughter to not be saddled with it if I somehow end up dying while in school.

I thought student loans were discharged if you die?

That would be cool. I was under the impression that student loans couldn't be absolved by death or bankruptcy. :shrug:

I'm only familiar with the songs she has on the radio, but I liked all of them.. and I think there have been many over the past couple of years.

Taylor Swift songs = guilty pleasure for sure.
