I just loathe the cost and the flight.

I went from: loving flying --> hating flying --> back to flying is OK. Airports are my least favorite thing though...ug, so much traffic. Especially LAX.

When first starting to interview I LOVED when random people sat next to me on Southwest because it was exciting to meet random new people. Well that enthusiasm faded quick and I turned into one of those people who hated when people sat next to them(I always sit in the window seat). I must look mean though(or something else..), because, unless the plane was full, I would have am empty seat next to me.

My favorite plane awkwardness was on my way to Philly:
Neighbor: So why are you going to Philly?
Me: I am interviewing for med school and visiting family. How about you?
Neighbor: I am going to a funeral.
Me: Oh sorry!

--Fast forward to everyone getting off the plane--

Neighbor: Have fun at the interview!
Me(completely out of a habit and not paying attention): Have fun at the ---uh, yeah....:smack:

Hahahaha!!! I shared that on fb.

As for LAX and flying, yeah, anything in Chicago or NYC is far worse than LAX. At least LAX is efficient unless you need to drive yourself. And I totally turned into the guy that either has earplugs or earbuds in at all times and reading.
