My friends are all coming up today and want to day drink all day but I already signed up for an 11 hour shift (8pm to 7am) tonight. Sooooo depressed 🙁 🙁 🙁.

Haha I wish. But considering I work at a hospital it probably wouldn't be a good thing to go in drunk.

Are you pretty settled on center city? I actually really like the university city area since the streets are larger/cleaner! Reminds me more of home haha

I haven't found a place yet, but I think CC would be best. UC is certainly nice, but it's a SEPTA ride everyday to get to Jeff that I could do without. Currently working out some nuts and bolts stuff before actually settling on a place. Will probably be moving in June/July.

😆 Good lord did this hit home for me, but with our PCR machine. Not only did it break, it acted like it was working and screwed up months of experiments by confusing the hell out of us when our genotyping came back all wrong. We trashed the experiments when they probably in fact worked! Most angry lab fkc up ever! 😡 I just got a little red in the face recounting this epic fail. LoL

Awesome! I was srs when I posted on fb. I've decided I'll be hitting Philly in time for the 4th of July, so I'll be arriving sometime between 6/29 and 7/3. Please make sure you have a enough room for a couch or futon for your ole pal! 😉
 
Officially holding only 2 acceptances. I was supposed to make the final decision before I leave for Europe but it looks like that is not happening...

No. Almost full tuition from Chicago but nothing comparable from Penn. The problem is I talked to Penn about 1.5 weeks ago about finances and they said they would see what they can do. So it looks like I will be taking the stress with me to Europe as I wait for Penn to "see what they can do."

Rachelkj, do you have hikes planned this summer? My fiancée and I would love to go with you if you do. I want to do a 20+ mile hike or two this summer.
