It's not even 10AM, and it's already above 80 degrees... Ugh. My morning workout is going to suck...

What airline??? I MUST KNOW!
Going through Game of Thrones withdrawal. It's been too long.
Never mind, apparently methanol is also in lab grade EtOH. I don't want to be blind, so no cheap drinks!
Just had the biggest cinnamon roll I've ever seen. It was about 10 inches in diameter!

Haha... aren't you at work?
Just out of curiosity, are you guys going to give up SDN when med school starts? Or become an infrequent poster?
I imagine some of you could never give it up--by the number of posts you have, you must be on SDN all day long.![]()

I probably won't post much anymore. When I do it will be limited to the school specific page of my school, maybe this class thread occasionally and the allo thread when I have questions.
Just had half of a chocolate covered jelly filled donut. I feel so guilty now.

Glad to see I'm not the only one struggling with culinary temptations. Enjoyed a butter- slathered soft pretzel today with two chocolate truffles.
In terms of exercise, has anyone tried that P90X thing? I bought first year of college, used it once, got such severe muscle aches that I couldn't and forgot about it. I think I'll try it again. I've heard too many docs say they put on twenty pounds first year of med school.![]()

I am getting an exercise bike and am going to ride it slowly while studying. That should be a good way to study/be active.

But how would you take notes/ write outlines?
I honestly don't get how med students listen to lectures at 2X. My profs sounded like chipmunks on a caffeine high when I tried to listen to my lectures with this. 1.5X is only semi- normal.
I had a system where I went to lecture, took notes on the Powerpoint, and then watched it later on 2x speed to solidify the material. 2x speed is perfect for me, because I think everyone talks slow.
