Class of 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
At my school, we have to do a summer project between first and second year. One way to satisfy the project is by doing research and at least having a poster presentation. I applied for one research position over the summer and didn't get it. The doctor was nice enough to allow me to ask for feedback and I did. Apparently I didn't get it because someone applied for it with a masters with a few first author publications and already has done extensive research in the field. What's stupid is this person doesn't have to do the summer project because they already have first author publications. They are just being greedy and taking up projects!

Looks like I am going to do some rural medicine now for my summer project (assuming I can't find another research project).

Sounds like a gunner.

Bust some kneecaps.

The only time I go to the gym is when I'm giving interview tours.

That feeling when all you have to do is get a 55% on the final to have the points needed to pass the class... Only to find out passing the final is also a requirement.

Lame, but almost done with histo.

It sure is cold here in California. I had to wear a sweatshirt yesterday... it was terrible.

I kid, I kid
White text shows up as white in coffee mode but the background is tan. Not cool, SDN. There goes my ninja stuff.

Shameless pre-bed bump. I'll be dreaming of renal physiology tonight.

My Christmas present this year is 2-3 days snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor here in Oregon. It's gonna be awesome!

Oh, and found out that our second kid is gonna be another girl. I will officially be outnumbered....
