What spurred the matchmaker in you today/tonight?
 
omg. i go to work, come back, and WHOA. busy thread!!! also did i get set up with someone? did that happen? i was too lazy to go back and quote it. my non-premed boyfriend would be quite displeased hahaha

i'm not HYP.... :cry: :cry: :cry: i chose my undergraduate school based on proximity to a hospital lol. ended up working out for me! hopefully my gpa+ecs will make up for my lack of nationally known/prestigious undergrad haha.

(ALSO UGH I HATE THE MCAT UGH UGH UGH)

so i tried to bake bacon in the oven today. i checked it, and it wasn't done. i turned around and watched like 30 seconds of a physics video on khan academy, went to check again, and the bacon was TOTALLY SUPER BURNED. i was so mad. i'm the worst cook ever.

I've never heard of anyone baking bacon. I've always fried it in a pan on the stove.

I have successfully fried it on a stove, but someone told me that baking was cleaner and easier and quicker. Apparently not!!!

Awwww. Doesn't look any of his matches worked out, though... I'd say keep your day job, bro :meanie:

Actually I do have more. I just haven't been able to dust off my pride well enough to try again, hahaha.

Sooooo in my short MCAT breaks, I've found myself becoming more obsessed for no reason with bad reality shows. I've been obsessing over the bachelorette for the past few months. Totally embarrassing. Worst part is I've been watching it for years and years. I have no idea why. Anybody with me? Like a show that you really really should hate?

Haven't cubed seriously since high school. With feet is probably the most exotic I can pull off now. My daily cubing activity is just toying with my 3x3. Nothing special.

Dumb questions are dumb, but if I'm starting my second year of college later this month, that makes me c/o 2020, right?

I remember when I first showed up on pre-allo and I was talking with the medical students because I thought initially that the year referred to the year that you'd get a bachelor's. 😳

I was reading the 2021 thread and I saw 'rising sophomores' mentioned which was why I'm not sure lol.

If everything goes well for you and it's what you want to do then you could go directly to MS after graduation and be in the c/o 2020. If you take a gap year after graduation as many students do, you would be c/o 2021

Yeah, that's my bad. I was so happy in trolling that I forgot the usual c/o threads assume no gap between undergrad and med school. 😳

Like for some reason I think of Agent B as this lanky white guy who'd drop some sick rhymes.

Right now I got like two lyrics in mind
