So I live in Texas, applied IS to all Texas Schools (3) None OOS.
GPA 3.72, Science GPA is like 3.6 (3.84 overall using TMDSAS GPA calculations)
DAT AA: 20 (Lowest was 19)
I've had 100+ hrs of shadowing, + service experience.
Graduated from uni in december, I'm currently taking courses post-grad at another college.
I received two interviews: Baylor in mid-October and UT Health in early December. First time applying. I recieved a rejection letter from Houston (no interview) about a week ago. Baylor also let me know they were still considering me back in mid-January.
I honestly expected to be in the first or second round of acceptances and frankly it's a little confusing/humbling to me that I haven't gotten any notification yet.
The only wierd thing about my app is that I switched to pre-dental from pre-med about a year before I applied. Still, I should be more than qualified... right? I'm a little bit dumbfounded right now, and need either comforting words or a dose of reality. Whichever is more honest, preferably.
Also, when is the third round of acceptances typically sent out for texas schools? I think the second round has already been sent out.
