I interviewed an was accepted to a DO school. (Yay!) I told them that I was planning to take biochemistry and anatomy at my local university this coming semester. Now it looks like I'm not going to be able to take those courses due to over enrollment and full time students getting priority. Is there any risk of losing my acceptance if I don't take these courses? How important to my success in med school that I have these prior to starting? Would it be worth trying to take them in cc or online?

It depends on if the medschool requires Biochem for matriculation. I know a few schools do. Otherwise I don't see it affecting you.

You won't find Biochem at a cc. for online UNE has one. Biochem will help you with success in medschool but plenty of people succeed without it.

Undergraduate anatomy will hardly affect your ability to succeed in medschool. You go through enough detail in anatomy in the first month of medschool to equal an entire undergrad course.

CALL THE SCHOOL AND ASK THEM
