Guys,

A few questions here:

1. Is there a list of courses to know which courses fall under other science and non-science? For example, engineer course like Thermodynamics fall under which category.

2. There are a few courses I didn't care when I was an undergrad, so I didn't do so well on them (I had C- and below). These courses however are not pre-reqs for dental school. Should I bother to re-take them?

3. I had a D for "Modern Physics" class. This physic class is equivalent to physic 4 for many other school or the last physic class for engineering requirements. I went through hell for this course. Should I bother to retake this course since dental school doesn't need it?

4. Does DAT exam has physic questions?

i'd imagine this is a science course but not a bcp. Maybe you could argue its physics but idk. Never taken any engineering courses. If you have questions you should look in your course bulletin at your school to see what the class is listed under, bio, chem, physics. You can also check and see if it is under the department of letters of science or what not. This should help you out.

i'd retake them if i had time to. I.e. You'll still have a degree when you enter ds. Or if you have a low gpa that'd be cause to retake them.

probably not, unless for the reasons i listed in 2.

4. Does dat exam has physic questions?

no.

Go here for science/non-science/BCP courses lists.

You shouldn't retake them unless you're required C to C+ or higher for your degree. At my college we had to retake C- courses to get credit toward the degree.

No, physics is not tested on the DAT, and I think they're mainly looking at how well you performed in basic physics courses. Even if you did retake this course, there is no grade forgiveness allowed in AADSAS GPA. You must report all grades for GPA calculations.

4. Does DAT exam has physic questions?

No.

I hope this helps.
