Classes to take

What classes should I be taking for the OAT? I do not have room in my schedule to take many higher level biology or chemistry classes and just wanted to know what would would be most helpful for the OAT.

Do I need Genetics or Cell Biology?
What about Orgo 2 or Biochemistry?

Basic biology, ochem, chem, physics, and algebra is good enough. Honestly the oat does not go heavily into depth on those topics. As long as you know the basics and do lots of practice tests then you'll be fine.

O chem 2 (Orgo 2) is a good choice to have before hand. A lot of questions may ask for the name of different reactions, which you should learn in O chem 2. But otherwise it is pretty basic like undecisiveone1 said, but the bio section is literally all over the place so you just have to study study study 🙂
