Cliff AP, how did you utilize it?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I used this along with Barron's AP and basically just tried to memorize everything I could. I highlighted, took key notes in the margins, and looked up any terms I didn't know and also wrote their meanings in the margins. I went through both books twice, along with the KBB biology once (much more borning, ugh!). I also did all of the questions at the end of each chapter. These books are an awesome preparation for the test!

How did you study with Cliff AP?

- Read and go on?
- Read and take notes?
- Just skim through it to get the main idea?

Take notes, but only on things that you are weak on. I tried outlining the whole thing when I was studying but found it was really inefficient because it is already condensed enough. I drew my own diagrams on things such as the kidney and heart and organized them in a binder to help me memorize them. The questions at the end of each chapter are good to see if you understand the material. Once you go through it once, I would take practice tests to point out your weaknesses and use cliffs as a reference to clear things up. I think this is more efficient than just reading the entire book multiple times.

Thanks! I was reading through it, and I felt that it was kind of pointless to write notes whenever it was already condensed for you. I will take both of yall's advice. Thanks again!

I memorized it word for word(except photoperiodism and a few pages on the plants). Seriously, there are pages on there on where I can just start spitting out facts without even looking at them.

we'll see how I'll do in bio on tuesday HAHAHA

I used to get the general ideas on weak topics (plant, evolution, ecology). The day before the test, I skimmed through for a fast review.
