I was just wondering how detailed and how much taxonomy is tested on the actual DAT. How closely did you guys look at the "Biological Diversity" chapter in Cliffs. It is so detailed and contains ridiculous terminology.

It can be different depending on the test. I don't think the terminology is ridiculous. Pretty standard IMO.
