Do most people find the Part II: Laboratory Review section helpful to go through? Thanks

I've taken the test twice and have never had a lab question on the test. Since that section isn't in the KBB I assumed it wasn't covered on the DAT so I skipped it in Cliffs. Also if you go to the ADA website and download their guide to the DAT it has all areas covered under each section of the test and lab skills isn't listed for bio. So I think you are safe to skip it and focus your attention elsewhere 🙂

I had about 2 lab questions on my DAT, but nothing that couldn't be answered with basic knowledge from chem lab. I wouldn't waste my time studying the text.

Is studying Cliffs AP Bio enough, or should it be supplemented with campbells? I tried reading both texts and Campbells is sooooo specific. Do we need to know ALL of that stuff?

They formulate questions based on Campbells 7th ed, so anything that's in there is fair game as far as I'm concerned.

However, based on DAT breakdowns, it seems more conceptual, but I'm learning everything just to be safe.

ALSO: If you have the 7th edition, make sure you read ch. 19-21 and take good notes...this seems to be the chapters where the "random" questions come from.

its listed as one of the reference texts for the DAT.

I feel like you should not just read campbell's 19-21. My DAT was random but i barely had genetics (like 1 or 2 simplee questions) . It could be anything so skim through as much as campbell as you can..
