this is a relatively cheap review booklet, and according to it, it has 5 practice tests. has anybody used it before? helpful?

I used it for the August PCAT. It's very helpful, they have many PCAT like questions. Try to take the 5 exams under test like conditions to optimize its usefulness. 👍

I thought it was okay for practice. The biology, verbal, and reading were good. Chem had weird questions that were not representative of the real PCAT, and math included geometry (which is no longer on the PCAT) and was easier than the actual test. In my opinion, though..🙂

It was alright, not that great. I found it helpful because you can time yourself good and you have five tests.

i really did not like the cliffs test prep book...the answer key was wrong... not that i am disagreeing with it, but when you go to test explanations, they give you the right answer, just not the corresponding letter. also the verbal section is not good at all. they are very common words and not like what was on the pcat

I agree that Cliff's was somewhat useful but the quality is not that great... The amount of mistakes I found throughout the answer keys drove me crazy.

I totally agree with you here. Cliff's chemistry questions were really off. Some questions require you to look at the periodic table. Although the chemistry questions were not representative of the real PCAT, it did test my knowledge of basic chemistry concepts.
