Clinical aspect of app

Hey guys,

I'm applying next year and have recently started to volunteer at a hospital and do shadowing. I've previously shadowed during the last 2 summers, and have done regular hospital volunteering during high school + summer of my freshmand year. I'm paranoid I don't have enough hours by the time I submit my application... What's the average amt of years for clinical work?

I've done 10/week ems since I stepped foot on campus + volunter first aid tents + blood drives/flu shot clinics + shadowing + summer intership in a dr. office. And I am only a sophmore!

Dude, you have a year. Don't stress. Just find somewhere soon and start volunteering a couple hours a week. It's not as much about the amt of hrs as what you get out of them. 1 more year of volunteering should be plenty.

Word around here is that the average is about 1 year/150 hours hospital volunteering and ~40 hours of shadowing.
