What should one expect from a typical one-month clinical rotation in ophthalmology?

For example:
- Observing as much pathology as possible
- Becoming familiar with diagnostic tools and instruments
- Observing surgery
- Participating in surgery
- Lots of general medicine-type stuff
- Call/Emergency/Trauma

Thanks.

In your one month rotation, learn how to do the basic eye exam, see as much pathology as you can, and decide whether or not you want to spend the rest of your life in this field. Don't expect to do surgery. Don't expect to do tons of call. This is your opportunity to become familiar with ophthalmology.
