Has anyone here heard anything form them? I believe the interview is going to be conducted on September 24th. Has anyone received an interview invitation yet?

this is an earnest question, so please dont take it as if I'm bashing on CNCP, but why would you commit yourself to CNCP for early decision?

If you get in, you're morally and ethically obligated to go there - nowhere else. I'm not sure what PharmCAS does, but you may be prevented from applying elsewhere too if you get in.

The program only has candidate status (which is not so bad I guess), and does not have WASC accreditation. How will you fund your student loans if you cant get stafford loans?

As was mentioned by other poster on SDN, the decision of going to a particular school depend of a variety of factors that's personal to the applicant. The important thing here is CNCP's candidate status which gives its students all the rights that fully accredited schools students have. As for the funding for school, the sallie mae private loan's interest is hoovering around 8-9%. This is a little bit higher than federal loans, but it's by no mean that bad.

totally agree.

yeah applicants can choose where they want to go, but i think the commitment outweighs the benefit here.

if it were me, id just apply to more accredited schools (increasing chances of getting in somewhere) rather than possibly fully committing myself to cncp.

off topic of the OP, sorry.

Just forwarding this message from someone regarding CNCP 🙂

"I thought I'd post this email I got from WASC concerning government aid and accreditation from Christine Castagnola, the finance operations manager from WASC.

What I can tell you is that they (WASC) have a
visit scheduled in the fall of 2010. If everything goes well a decision will be made by our commission middle of February which would grant them candidacy. From my understanding at that point you would be eligible to submit an application to FASFA."

Has anyone here received an interview invitation, yet?
