It's always important to consider the source - whenever you read an article posted online.

The data for this article comes from career builder. I find it interesting that CareerBuilder is reporting salary statistics - considering I almost NEVER see a listed salary for healthcare professionals.

The typical practice is that "competitive salary" is listed...

The average salary for a pharmacist is above 88000 - the last time I checked anyway.

Just food for thought...

That list is bull. I can think of several more high paying jobs (Yes, I looked these up):

NFL Player - $295,000 minimum (entry level)
Professional Female Porn Star - $109,000 year part time ($700/day, 3 days/week)
WV State Senator - $220,000 (including base salary and "honorariums")
Being Paris Hilton - $6.5 million

well first off the job has to have a minimum of like 5k people working it to be listed, second My Cousin Plays for the jaguars practice squad and he make 90k a year.

The OP is an idiot...they should post # of hours worked.

Hell, a janitor can make $120k/yr...if they work enough overtime.

what about interventional radiologists? my sister pulls in a cool half-million

The numbers look way off. It's like it's from the 90s or something.

Average salary for pharmacists was either 103K or 106K in 2007 - the first time it crossed 100K. I remember reading an article about it back in the Spring....
