Those who have already been pre-approved for a mortgage, are y’all going to go the physician loan route? Planning on getting pre-approved this week and was curious about logistics of the physician loan since we still have yet to graduate.

I got pre approved for a physician and FHA. I’m hoping to match in my hometown and would be interested in buying a multi unit home if the opportunity presents itself. My gestalt is physician loan for 2 or less units and FHA if it is a 3 or 4 unit home

Just general financial information (bank statements, tax return, W2, etc). Will need some sort of proof of employment (Match letter, sample contract form residency, etc) prior to putting down an offer on a place

Spoke to a friend tonight who had similar stats to mine and did a surgery prelim. Got zero interviews this cycle. He said he’s been deeply depressed and intermittently suicidal most of the season. So I’m officially following in the shoes of @SLC and soaping FM if it’s bad news tomorrow. Was tempted to even soap IM, but if I’m gonna do this I want to at least have the potential of delivering babies in rural Appalachia. We’ll see, but I feel like Heavenly Father is looking out for my fam. Everything will be okay.

Either way it is EXACTLY like Christmas Eve at my house 😂

Just one. I think they work in 14 states, which consists of the majority of my ranks

Agreed. I just told my senior this AM, "Hey its match week. My school suggested that I should prepare for SOAP this AM in case i didn't match at 11AM."

If by preparing, you mean staring at reddit/SDN posts about waiting for an email. Then yeah i'm ready.

Don’t you get an email? Also I’m not sure if the soap tab should even be available unless you need it ?

You'll get the email before it's available on the NRMP site, usually by about 5 minutes.
