M1 here. I got rejected from the research programs I applied to for the summer. I'm interested in either PM and R or neuro. I'm wondering if I would have any success emailing/cold calling some docs within the area to see if they could use some slave labor over the summer?

stop by your neuro department. see if residents are doing projects that you can help with. med student/ resident level research is pretty easy to do
