Has anyone recieved an e-mail titled "COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE LETTER" and it being from the freakin army? my heart just dropped cuz i am waitlisted at 3 schools and its really a dirty thing to do. Here is what it says:
"Dear DANIEL,
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ACCEPTANCE INTO MEDICAL SCHOOL!
Getting into medical school is a huge accomplishment, but perhaps the biggest challenge is paying for it. Thats where the U.S. Army can help.
We can provide a scholarship of up to four years: that means full tuition and reimbursement for certain books, equipment and academic fees. Add a monthly stipend of $1,279.00 to help with day-to-day expenses and youll be graduating with a degree, not a debt.
The Army has a program in which you could reserve a scholarship until you are accepted into the Medical School of your choice. This particular program is the Automatic Acceptance Criteria (AAC). You must be a U.S. Citizen, have scored at least 29 on the MCAT, and have a minimum GPA of 3.5. You must also be physically qualified. With this you can have a scholarship with your name on it held just for you!
A letter like this can never do justice to all the facets of the Army Medical Corps and all the opportunities it could afford someone of your caliber.
Contact me today and discover more about how the U.S. Army could boost both your career and your bank account. I can also put you in touch with a physician who can tell you firsthand what its like to be part of the Army Health Care Team.
I look forward to meeting with you soon."
I wasnt even accepted yet and they are congratulating me.. Do they know something that I dont? lmao
