I am a physician who already made it through the application cycle madness (it is painful but you will survive and the good news is that applying to residency is much easier). MANY people ask about university premedical clubs/groups/societies. A google search led to a ton of out-of-date/unhelpful pages. Any ideas on where to look? Does your school have a premed club with a website?

Thanks!

Yeah we have a huge pre-med club with over 550 members (alot fewer are active though, haha) and I'm an officer and to my surprise it is actually well run and we have at least 3-4 activities every week ranging from working at a soup kitchen, hospital tours, doctor speakers coming, walks of life, group study (lots of brains put together = smart), bowling with disabled people which is super fun, etc.

Alpha Epsilon Delta is the Pre-Medical honor society at my university. It is for juniors and seniors but our chapter allows freshman and sophmores to become associate members and be active in the group. They provide many volunteer activities and informational sessions for pre-meds. This link is to their main website.
