Has anyone been requested by Colorado to submit their supplemental? I just received a 'Test' email saying they will let me know if they want one, they were the only school I had not heard anything from yet. My app still isn't complete (waiting for one letter :annoyed:), just curious if anyone got their supplemental and how long from application complete.

I was in the third batch for Colorado. I got the "test" email saying it was received. The only thing they don't have is my DAT scores, which should arrive in a week or so. But other than that, they've been dead silent for me. Granted, I'm from MA and I'm not expecting to hear much from them. I just figured it was worth the shot.

Colorado said they are preparing to give out invites in the weekend and starting of next week.
it takes 2-4 weeks after the 1st email to get your secondary.

hope that helps.

Do they give supplementals out to everyone? Or just select people?
This is what the e-mail says, I'm assuming this means they don't give it out to everyone:
We will be in contact with you by e-mail to inform you of the next step in our application process: 1) what we have received, and 2) whether or not we will need any secondary information. Please do not submit secondary information unless it is requested.

I received the aforementioned email July 10 (perhaps because I'm in-state), but yes, nothing further as of yet. I did go ahead and call the school and they said they're getting their incoming class settled and then will begin reviewing apps soon.

^Glad to hear it could be as early as this weekend.

I think I remember CO residents getting the invites earlier than OOS last cycle. Makes sense. And the lull do to the incoming class makes sense as well. Earliest OOS invite I knew of last cycle (friends) was mid September. I was OOS first batch, got the received email on 7/21, and interview invite on 9/29. I wish predents would come back up soon. These and many more things can be discovered there.

Just got invited for an interview at CO! Really excited!

Interestingly, there doesn't seem to be a "secondary" to speak of. They require some paperwork, but apparently no essays or anything.

Yep, via email!
CONGRATS! so are you saying that after the "we got your application and we will contact you if we need any secondary" email... u didn't get any secondaries, but got an invite straight up?

Just want to double check cause I didn't get any secondaries yet and people are getting invites already!

Are you in state!? Lucky! Congrats.

There isn't a secondary. When they decide to interview you, you fill out a couple of forms and pay a fee. That's it. Very nice that the fee is only if you are invited to interview.

Yep! What Jeff said!

Also, yes, I am in-state.

Any OOSers hear from Colorado aside from the test e-mail? Or any other activity? I'm OOS and not WICHE so it's kind of a stretch for me. But I love CO!

One contributing reason why they may be slow, is that the admissions office is one person...not a staff. She's really nice, but she obviously stays busy.
