Hey guys, I was just wondering about Columbia's ways of notifying applicants if they've been rejected or accepted, and the time in which it takes to do so. For those of you who got a pre-interview rejection, how did you find out, and what did they say? For those with a post-interview rejection, how'd you find out, and what'd they say? And for the lucky ones who got acceptances, how did they notify you, what'd they say, what else did they send along with a letter? I'm assuming that all their news comes in the mail in standard-sized envelopes, but acceptances come with more than just one sheet of paper. Correct me if i'm wrong. Did anyone receive an acceptance recently?

i dont believe Columbia is giving out any more acceptances since the class is filled (the last time I heard) people however are being placed in the alternate list. Some people may drop out for the next deposit deadline, but these spots are going to go to those on the alternate list. I believe the final interview date was last Friday or this Friday if you are wondering.

anyone know what are the chances of getting in from the alternate list?

Hey Guys!
I just send my letter of withdrawal from the program after sending the $1000. That means there is one open spot left. Good Luck!
