i would like to know if there are any combined dds/ oms residencies? everybody knows of the md / oms programs but what about an md who wants to go for OMS ? is this possible?

Yes, I'm not sure exactly which programs accept MDs. There are a few, but I don't think they really advertise the positions.
I think you might want to contact:
UAB and Kentucky
There are some others on here that I'm sure would have a better idea of which schools you should contact. That in the past have a history or providing the DDS/OMS option.

I know that U of Michigan has a DDS/OMS program, we have a classmate who is in that program currently. However I heard it's a pilot program that they're testing out, so I don't know if they'll have it every year or if it's open to everyone or just U of M medical students.
