I'm currently a senior in high school, looking to enter the field of dentistry.

I'm wondering if combined 7 year BS/DMD programs are a smart choice, or if I should take the regular 8 year route.

Does anyone have a list of these combined programs?

At the moment, the schools with that program that come to mind are University of the Pacific, NYU, Tufts, Detroit Mercy, and I think Case Western. There are definitely more, a quick search should find 'em for you. However, some of these don't guarantee admittance, just an interview, and you have to maintain a higher GPA to stay in the program.

If your goal with a BS/DDS program is to save money by shaving off a year, you might be better off just going to wherever has the cheapest tuition. Use that time to get involved with volunteering or clubs while also focusing on your grades. Don't forget to relax a little and have some fun, while you're at it. 🙂
