My application was marked complete at most schools I applied to because of three individual letters I sent in (2 PI's, one volunteer supervisor). A couple days ago, my committee letter was uploaded to AMCAS. Maybe a silly question, but one I couldn't find the answer to -- my committee letter should still be evaluated for interview consideration, correct? I was nervous that maybe adcoms have already looked at the 3 individual letters and decided they don't meet the requirement (not professors who have taught me a class) and tossed my app.

If it makes a difference, I emailed all of the schools that sent me the "you're application is complete!" email and basically said "hey, I know I've been marked complete, but there's also a committee letter on the way".

If you have already been screened, the committee letter would not have would not have been seen.
It will be available if you made it to the next round.

What exactly does "screened" mean? Are there typically multiple "screens" prior to an applicant's being offered an interview (if so I imagine this varies from school to school)? The only screen I was aware of was the pre-secondary screen. Thanks, @gyngyn !

Depending on the school, there may be more than one screen.
