Committee Letter + Whom?

Hey guys,

A few questions:

1. Is this right? If one of my letters is the pre-dental committee letter, then I only get one more letter that I'm allowed to have sent to schools with my application?

2. For the one additional letter, who are you guys getting to write it? I'm assuming most of you are having a dentist you're currently shadowing write the second letter for you?

Yes, a dentist for your second letter. Some schools require a letter from a dentist with the amount of hours you shadowed.

Now, if a dentist has already written a letter that is part of the committee letter, would it make sense to include another letter from a dentist?

If I chose to include another letter from a dentist, I assume I would use a different dentist than the dentist that wrote the letter for my committee letter?

Well, if the school requires the dentist to write how many hours you shadowed, the committee letter might not necessarily portray that.. depends on the school. I guess if you can confirm if the committee letter will include the hours, it shouldn't be a problem.
