Committee Letter

How important is a committee letter to podiatry schools? I went to a top 10 undergrad 3.3sGPA/3.5cGPA, 34MCAT, and I could provide 5 individual letters. Would not having a committee letter be held against me?

I'm pretty sure no school requires one, but may prefer to have one. If you look on most websites it says 2 science letters OR a committee letter. I didn't have any science professors letters and only a committee, head coach, and a pod letter. Check out individual school websites.

It doesn't make a difference if you have a committee letter or not. I submitted my letters through Interfolio instead of getting a committee letter and I was fine. My school had never done a committee letter for podiatry school before and they didn't really know much about podiatry. I was never questioned about not having a committee letter.
