Hi so sorry, I've been trying to search threads about this, but I couldn't find answers specific to my question..

I was wondering if I can take non-pre req classes at a community college?

I can't take a physiology course at my university because the time is always conflicting with my other courses. There's something called:

Essentials Human Anatomy and Physiology (one semester course)
The purpose of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive one semester course on the structure and function of the human body. Basic anatomy and physiology of all major organ systems will be covered in lecture and laboratory settings. Lab includes dissection demonstrations by course instructor.

I also really want to take this course that sounds interesting! I have an orthondonist for my braces, and I've always wanted to learn the lingo he uses!
Oral, Head and Neck Anatomy
Introduction to head and neck anatomy; dental nomenclature; primary and permanent tooth development, anatomy, function, terminology and occlusion will be included.

Do you think this is a stupid idea since we will learn this in dental school? (if I even get in that is... 🙁 )

Hi there. You can take any class at community college, but they prefer to see harder courses and a lot more courses taken at the university level. They don't like to think you are taking a difficult course at community college as a cop out (for example: organic chem). One class here or there is okay though, again preferably not ones where it appears your doing it to take an easier route. It isn't stupid to get a head start and take things you may learn in dental school. In fact, first year is a lot of sciences you already probably took in college, some they even require, so you already have that foundational knowledge. Just save your notes and even book if you want so you can refer back and not forget what you learn. Good luck!
