I know some schools accept community college credit..Here is the link..

http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=527335

According to the information given, there is a limit!!! most schools limit 60 units..

But I transferred from cc with over 60 units with Econ major and I took all bio chem physics courses at my 4-year university. (But I took english and math at cc)

My questions are
1. Does it hurt my chance to get in just because I took over 60 units at cc, even though I took all Bio chem phy courses at university?
Most transfer students have completed over 60units at cc....

2. Should I retake english an math at my 4year university?
(My UC Irvine GPA is over 3.95.......Even though my GPA is high, does it hurt my chance?) I will apply next year...

I would like to know this as well.

I have taken 60 credits at a community college, including all of my prereqs except physics.

I am guessing a good DAT score would be a great way to off set that.

I hope my high university GPA(not cc gpa) would offset this....

I was recently accepted and I went to a community college. I took around 80-90 credits at the CC. I transfered to a university, where it took me 3 years because I had a lot of classes left for my degree. I ended up using my Eng and Math from the CC and NEVER had to re-take those credits!! I did re-take my chemistry and only used one bio class (Human Bio). My advice is to take almost all of your science from the four-year and besides that you should be good. I was never asked about why I spent time at a CC or anything of that nature at all. Hope this helps!!

Thanks for replying Hordel!! I also took Math and English at cc before transfer...Now I decided not to re-take those classes at my university!!!
