Alright, of all the talk of whether or not to take coursework (sciences) at a community college, ive heard its ok, and ive heard the opposite. It was bugging me because I took some sciences at a community college ( went their on track scholarship, turned premed). So I talked to a few schools at admissions. One school said " No, it wont be a problem as long as junior and senior level sciences are taken at a 4 year" My top choice school, and home state KCUMB said " Sciences should be taken at a 4 year, but alot of junior senior sciences would help out." Leading me to think it will severly hurt chances. ANY success stories or comments for KCUMB? OR gaining admission coming from a juco at any DO

I took a lot of my prerequisites at a JC while I was a Psych major at my 4 year... I also took my first 3 years at a JC. Admissions committees didn't seem to mind. The only thing that was asked (once) was why I went to 3 junior colleges and I said because of proximity to my work and home and hours with a busy schedule... and I got in there too.

I talked to someone at KCUMB myself, and they recommended to me that I complete my remaining requirements at my local community college (although I live in KS - if I lived in MO the recommendation was to complete the remaining classes at a university).
