I have heard about the "piano" passage, would a technique like search and destroy work well on this passage, or would the mapping technique be more effective.

DAT on the 15th

I have all of my top score exams to still do but i have done 3 kaplan tests using their mapping method, it has worked well so far, with scores in the low twenties. but a really long passage scares me.

What technique did you use and how did it work out for you?

also, When employing the S&D method should you read multiple questions before skimming?...If anyone has a link to a comprehensive thread on this method please let me know, but otherwise I am still interested in hearing what other people have to say about which method to use on a long piano type passage?

has anyone seen the law of sin and law of cos on the DAT? that would be a killer.

When I was doing a Crack DAT reading test today it seemed as though the questions were in almost perfect cronological order, aside from the tone type questions, is this similar to the DAT?

none of my passages were even close to chronological...totally random!!! i did skim and scan and did well however...good luck!
