hey sdner's

i took the last paper mcat in august of 06

how is the computer version different now
and what is the best way to prepare for the computer version.
just to take practice tests on the computer?


how many questions were condensed in each section?

I'm in the same boat, also took the last Aug paper test. I'm re-taking at the end of the month and so far I've been taking the CBT tests that are on AAMC. They do have one free one if you just want to get the feel of the test, but I'm planning on taking most of them ($35 each). They are shorter, and I actually found the format harder than the paper test. Something about being on the computer screen is really distracting to me. I just feel like I should be surfing the net or something, not seriously focusing on a test.
 
haha I believe you kate....look what I'm doing now...I'm "studying" asldfjas;jfoewifje! also I'm angry at the limited material I have for the computer in terms of practice questions. For example, I have EK, kaplan, and TPR stuff from last year but none of that is computerized because I took the Aug exam. Whoop dee doooo
