How does one make a gif into an avatar? 😕

I just had a rather large urge to rub glue around in my hands, let it dry, and peel it off.... :eyebrow:

Good thing there's no glue anywhere. 😎

I'm about to get a spoon and just eat Nutella right out of the glass again. Which I already did yesterday. I can't help it.

Seriously Emiloo, this is the best. Why is this so fun? Why do we do this? I wish I had glue....

I like when you first blow out candles to stick my fingers in them and make wax fingertips.... yep

We always did that, too! Now I just don't have any candles..

I miss scented markers. 😎

I haven't even looked to see what books I need. Classes start tomorrow.

I missed the boat on that, too. I ignored the e-mail from the bookstore(because I wanted to buy them offline cheaper), and that apparently was the only book list. I'm going into my second week and still only have 1 book I managed to buy off an upperclassman. 🙂

Because of all the talk about this Honey Boo Boo show in the lounge, I decided to look it up on youtube... ended up watching the first two episodes....

:lame:

😆

Those people are effing nuts!

I like watching Breaking Amish. I'm not obsessed with it nor do I arrange my schedule around it, but when it replays I get a little sucked in.

Em, what is Breaking Amish?? (I will google it, but would love for you to explain why it sucks you in. )

It doesn't really suck me in too much, but it's about a group of Amish kids (probably 19 or 20 years old) that they throw into NYC. Not sure how real it is but it's interesting to watch their transition and the things they've never done before that you and I do everyday.

I don't know if the show itself is real, but the concept(right word?) is quite real. In Amish religion, when you reach a certain age(15-16ish, I believe), they have what is called Rumspringa that begins. It is a period of time where the youth can go out into the 'real' world. Use cars, telephones, wear modern clothing and makeup, etc. Do things they would never be able to do once they are baptized. This is an important period of time for the Amish. If a youth decides to leave Rumspringa and come back to the church to be baptized(and they usually do), then the church knows that it s a sincere choice from the heart. Not just because they were raised to do it. They have a chance to see the modern world and decide if they want to stay or not.

Unfortunately, because these youth have not been raised in the modern world, they tend to go overboard with things like drinking and smoking and drugs. Not all, but some. (By the way, drinking is still a problem with adult Amish as well, though usually, it is done secretly)

Yeah. I grew up right next to a big Amish community so I know all that and maybe that's why I think it's interesting lol.

Seriously, my ovaries do the tango when I see a baby. It's pissing me off.

My cousin who's three days younger than me just had her little babe yesterday and it hit me as well lol

Me neither. But in a pinch, there's always Michael Fassbender or Robert Downey Jr. or Michael Fassbender. Have I mentioned Michael Fassbender? 😍

So I am going to say Emiloo introduced my to Breaking Amish.

I tend to be a tad older than a lot of you ladies. So barring those that never want kids, I am hearing my biological clock a little louder than most. And that **** needs to cool it's jets.

I'll sell you one. Or two, and give you a break on the price of the second.
