is there any way to read my confidential LORs on interfolio.com without getting in trouble?

I've already used them to get into med school. I'm just curious what my writers wrote about me. I'm never going to use them again.

I thought about creating a fake delivery, but it didn't seem worth it if the consequences are stiff. Anyone have any advice? Anyone done that?

No. Don't violate the confidence of your letter writers.

So you figure if you can do it without getting into trouble it would be ok?

Awesome!

I'd just ask your letter writers. Seems less dangerous that way.

Besides, you know they had to be pretty good, if you got into medical school. Why do you need to see them? Do you require additional ego boosts and pats on the back saying how you're an 'exceptional employee' or that you 'balanced a full-time job with raising three kids and going to school full-time, all while willingly tutoring underclassmen and volunteering at the children's oncology wing of the local hospital'?

Seriously. Just count yourself lucky, thank your letter writers by letting them know you got in, and focus on your life pre-med school.

The whole point is that you aren't allowed to look before or after.

Its not just so you can't pick and choose your good letters. If writers had to worry that students would look at the letters even after they were done applying they would be less likely to be candid.

I don't suggest you attempt to get copies of your letters. I'm pretty sure interfolio will only deliver to institutes of education so it wouldn't work anyway. You can ask your letter writers if you like, but don't be surprised if they balk.

Just get used to not being allowed to read your letters of rec. You'll do it all over again in med school.

I needed a LOR for a summer program, My letter writer made a copy personally for me to see. 👍
