I received a C- in General Chem 1 in a quarter system in Fall 2010 at UCLA (Chem14A)
In Fall 2008/Winter 2009 I took Chem 215 and Chem 216 at CSUSB and received an A in both. The only other class I took was BIOL 100 for which I received a WU (I did not know about the withdrawal system at the time).
I am planning on finalizing both MD and DO apps tomorrow but I cannot decide whether to submit my transcript from CSUSB or to satsify the chem requirement by taking it at a CC (is this even possible, to submit my app without having fulfilled a pre-req?)
What are the pros/cons of each scenario?
I.e. will I receive GPA credit for the A's at CSUSB even though they were not my most recent chem courses? Will my WU be replaced by my UCLA bio courses? Will by submission be delayed if I decide to retake the chem course?
I am leaning towards submitting my CSUSB transcript.
