Considering dropping my second major

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I don't think med schools will care if you have an extra bio major or not, so it should ultimately depend on what YOU want. However, if all I had was one class left, I would probably just stick with it. So if 50% of the grade depends on "participation", how do you know the class is going badly/ you're not doing that well? As long as you're putting effort in during the class, I bet you're doing fine so far.

No it really won't matter to med schools if you dropped the bio major. I would just make sure you're still a full-time student if you drop the course.

If the average grade in the class is an A, and you show up and work hard and do everything you can, then I doubt you will end up with a C. Unless you absolutely truly suck and like break equipment and destroy the lab and light someone on fire. Ask your classmates if you need help with techniques/procedures. Helping each other is a great way to learn procedural lab stuff.

Med schools won't care, but if this is the last class you need for the major and the average grade is an A, it might be worth sticking with it. Again, not for the sake of med schools, bust just because you're so close. Can you talk to the professor to get feedback about your performance in the class to get an idea of where you stand grade-wise?
