Any docs with experience with a patient who claims they have a contact lens stuck behind their eye, and end up checking the eye to find out there is nothing there?
This happened to me, however, after everting lids and checking in all fields of gaze, there was no contact to be found. Then after sending the person home, they call back saying they were pissed because they ended up finding it (and it poped out of their eye).
What does one say to that?
I work at Lenscrafters in New York if anyone is wondering.
