contacting about interview conflict

Hey all,

I am a fourth year applying to EM and I sent out 18 apps and have interviews at 5 schools. I havent heard from the rest yet but I am going overseas for a rotation Jan-Feb so I have to interview Nov and Dec (and 1 week of Jan). My advisor said that it wouldnt be a problem but I am getting nervous.

should I contact some of the programs as a reminder of my situation and express my interest or is that taboo? Would I call/ email the coordinator?

I feel like I am a good applicant (high pass in all third year rotations and 235 step 1 and good EM letters). Did I get bad advise or should I just be patient?

try checking the interview thread...if schools you have applied to have given out a fair amount of interviews, you can try contacting them. If they havent, i imagine they arent gonna be too willing. when you do get interviews, make sure you contact the programs asap so you can get your dates
