so originally, i was just going to ask what is the best way to contact schools, phone or email? i have called before and have emailed. calling always gets a response, but emailing seems less obtrusive.
anyways, i thought i would put my question out here before i start doing another round of calls. so i took one semester of general biology at my undergrad school before i had to leave due to a unit limit. i had also taken an upper division cell bio class without a lab and have toiled through bio on the MCAT, so a general bio class is all review at this point. now i am enrolled in a general bio class, but it is at a school that is on a quarter system. will the 1 semester + 1 quarter satisfy the 1 year of general bio requirement that most schools require?
what is the best way to go about telling schools that i am taking this class? and when i get my final grade, how do i tell them what i officially got?
this is specific to UC Irvine... if i satisfy the biochem requirement with a quarter of biochem, can the other biochem quarter requirement be satisfied with one of the classes listed under the biology catagory?
not very organized, but any help would be appreciated. thanks
