I've decided that next year I will attend school FT and complete my science prereq for med school. As a nontrad, I've been taking various science courses for the past few years to develop a stronger science background and to raise my GPA. I'm taking Chem 101, Survey of Chem II and Medical Terminology this semester.

Since I know my survey class will not count, I'm debating as to whether I should continue in the course as a GPA booster or if I should drop it, I'm also wondering if I should continue in my Chem 101 class.

What do you all think? Any input is greatly appreciated!

How would a "w" reflect when I interview for med school, aren't they looked down upon? I only began considering dropping this course when I realized (thanks to my brother who is a chemist) that this course would not count because it is a survey course.

As long as you dont have W's every semester your fine.
