Would a cookie cutter letter look bad on your application if it was for community service? I have a bunch of hours doing it, and the supervisor wrote about it, but you can definetely tell she just changed names and put my name on her letter of rec template. Would that hurt you really bad on ur application?

Not to worry since, considering the source, it may be a letter of little value.

I think a better way to put it would be: it won't hurt you, but it probably won't help you. It's better than a negative letter of recommendation though, look at it that way 🙂
