Hey guys im a freshman, and my organismal teacher was telling us about this better way to take notes. I have not ever used it and I was wondering if people actually use this and if it works? Initially I thought it was a waste of time, however, I decided to get more opinions. Thanks

Use it if you find it effective. It doesn't matter what we think as long as it works for you.

I think it works for people with good note taking skills!
As an advisor, i was encouraged to use and teach Cornell Notetaking to other students...out of 30 students i had, only three students loved it!

Ugh, christ no. We were forced to use it in high school and I hated it. It's better to just take normal notes. Cornell notes are really a waste of space.

try it. see if it works.

personally, i hate it.

you just write down whats important
and omit what isn't.

the method of entry / how much information you put down in your notebook or whatever should be enough for you to retrieve, completely, the specific material in which the notation is referring to.
