How much will it cost to apply to 17 schools? With the average cost of supplementary apps. Thanks in advance

Roughly $1,700 to $1,800... Just primary.

If you continue with secondary.. times your primary by 2.. so an estimate would be $3,300-$3,600 .

I think $243 for first school and $93 for each additional. And that's not including secondaries which most schools have and that is usually anywhere between 50 and 100. I would estimate $3000 plus just like @zEkii.

This is something I considered significantly when making my school list. For a school to be on my list, it needed to have something really unique. I was brutal in cutting down the number of schools I was originally considering.

Don't forget the cost of traveling to interviews. I have a car that gets 45+ on the highway. I drove to every interview, no flights, and tried staying with friends or AirBnB when possible, never spending more than $140 on a hotel (damn you, Philadelphia), and still probably spent around over a grand just on attending the interviews, outside of the application and secondary costs.
😱 What was your farthest drive?

15 hours to UNE. Well, I drove to visit under grand friends at UConn and then friends in Boston then to Maine so it wasn't a straight shot. Columbia was 9, UConn 11, Penn 7 (took 9.5 due to a chemical spill on the highway went to bed at 2:30am to be up at 6:00) Case 5.5, Tufts 13, Pitt was the easiest at 4.5, but Michigan was the closest call it was only 8 hours but I had to leave from work at 5:00ish in order to take just Friday off got in around 1:00am and the airbnb host didn't answer the door for like 20 minutes thought I'd have to sleep in the car but they finally answered the door. I was quite sick and my voice lasted literally to the end of MMI then died.
You're something else.😕
I was complaining driving 4 hours to Dallas. Forget 11 hours to KC and 20+ Hours to D.C.
