Phew! Week 5 Day 2 complete. That was a tough one. I ran at a pretty good clip without really trying though, about a 9:40/mile. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I've lost weight and have been doing quite a bit of strength training. But it went well, minus the side stitch I got towards the end of the second 8-minute segment, causing my running to slow to a slog. But I still finished the 3/4 mile and then some in the 8 minutes so I was happy with it.
I'm excited and nervous at the same time for Friday. Week 5 Day 3 was the single most challenging day for me the last time I did the C25K. It's the first long block of running with no rest and mentally it's pretty difficult to get through. I remember thinking I'd die last time, but I did it then so I know I can do it now!
